Miles School Party

I am one of Miles room moms for his preschool. Tuesday was his first party, and it was really fun to go and meet all the kids in his class.

Here is Miles description of the party (with some help from mommy). Mrs. Wise told us a really silly story about a witch who build a house out of paper and when the witch went in it turned into a jack o'lantern. We got a decorative bags, do the limbo and the chicken dance. Then we ate donuts off of a string, but I didn't like my donut so I didn't eat it. After that we did a candy hunt. It was a fun day.

I have to add that their was a little boy in the class that forgot his costume and was crying in the corner. Miles was so sweet, and told the little boy that he could wear his mask from his costume. What a proud moment for me. I knew that he Miles was a little sad to take his mask off and share it, but later he told me that he was happy that Owen stopped crying when gave him his mask.

Not so Happy Halloween

We did not have a happy halloween today. Tyson got sick last night, and Drew this morning. This is the first time that I have had two kids sick at the same time. We have had the weeks, were one is sick right after the other and so I have dealt with sicks for weeks on ends....but all at the same time was a challange and exhausting. Everyone held down their dinner so we did go trick or treating. But it didn't last long. Troy and I took turns carrying Drew who sucked on his pacifer and layed his head on our shoulder. Tyson and Miles half heartly walked up to a couple of theirs house to trick or treat. After about 5 house they were ready to go home. Miles then sad on the porch with Troy to pass out candy, while Tyson layed in on the couch watching the Backyardigans. I feel bad that they were sick, we have been counting down the days to halloween and they have been so excited. Maybe next year will be better.

Tyson Birthday Party

Monday was Tyson birthday party with his friends. We heating up the pool and had a swim party. It was cool last week, warmed up this week, but has been windy, so I was trying to come up with a back up plan. Monday was beautiful, no wind and warm. The kids had a great time, and so did the Mommy's.

The boys have enjoyed the pool this week. I think that this may be the last time we use the pool for a while.

Miles primary program

On Sunday Miles had his first primary program. He got to say a scripture, so we have been working on memorizing it for weeks. He knew it really well, and has been teaching Tyson it also. When they started the program Miles was the first child to speak. I was suddenly so nervous from him. I think he got nervous also, as soon as he stood up to the podium and saw all the people, he looked scared. But he did great, and we were very proud of him. Plus he looked so dang cute standing up there in his little suit. Thank you Grandma's and Grandpa's for coming a sitting through the program to watch Miles. He was very proud to have you there and come to "his church".

Happy Birthday Tyson

Tyson turned three on the 25th. He has been really looking forward to his big day. Daddy took us out to eat at Gatti Town for pizza that night. The boys thought it was great. They loved all the rides and the games, and liked that got to leave with prizes. We eat at very many restaurants that give prizes...hahaha :) I can't believe that my baby is three. *sigh*

Tyson's freakout

Wednesday evening we took a walk to the park. On our way home the street lights were starting to turn on. As we walked past one the lights it flickered then turned off. Tyson start crying and running to me. I asked him what was wrong. He pointed to the now dark street light, and said "that light just lost satellite, call Daddy and tell him to come fix it."

Miles questions prayer

My first "funny" from Miles.

The other day we are blessing our food at lunch when Miles asked me, "How does Heavenly Father hear me all the way down here when he is all the way up there?" I responded that "we start our prayers with Dear Heavenly Father so that he know we are talking to him." I thought this answered his question.....then he looked at me and asked, "Mom do you think that Heavenly Father listens to me on his speaker phone or on his regular phone?"
